It looks as if Sony is finally set to start rolling out achievement trophies on PC, allowing PC players to unlock those coveted platinums as well as console users.
There’s nothing quite like earning a platinumPlayStationtrophy - a sign that you well and truly have mastered a game. The more platinums you acquire, the more you can brag about it to your friends. I’m sure many of us will be rushing to platinumMarvel’s Spider-Man 2, seeing as the game releases this coming Friday, on 20 October. Inour review, we said, “This is an amazing fantasy come to life and realised like never before.Insomniac Gameshas crafted yet another heartfelt Spider-Man story bursting with twists, turns, and show-stopping spectacle,” but I digress. Console players will seemingly no longer be the sole platinum owners, asPCgamers are set to join in on the fun.
Take a look atMarvel’s Spider-Man 2in action below.

It’s no great surprise seeing as Sony have been stepping up their PC output.Horizon Forbidden West Complete EditionandRatchet and Clank: Rift Apartwere both recently ported to PC, with excellent results. I can’t say the same about the PC port ofThe Last of Us Part Ibut hopefully lessons were learnt from that glitchy debacle. Let’s hope PSN PC integration is launched in full in the near future.
