If you had asked people over one hundred years ago what they thought the world would look like in 2024, they would have probably pictured something along the lines of a flying car.
Although we are not there yet,Sonyis feeling optimistic (not about the flying car, just in general. Who knows though) and have released concept art for a futuristicPlayStationcontroller slated for release in 2034.

Shared on the official Sony Instagram account back in May, the controller gives us a glimpse into the future of innovative design and advanced technology which could mean this controller would very much be a possibility in a decade’s time.

The concert art showed a very sleek controller which kind of looks like the current DualSense controller but stripped of its outer shell.
The buttons appear to be touch-screen and we see the pictured gamer battling amongst asteroids on a floating screen.
Sony was quick to add a disclaimer though. It read: “The content in this video is not directly related to any existing Sony products or services”.
Regardless, it is evident that Sony is dedicated to continuing pushing the boundaries of gaming way into the future and fans were feeling optimistic.

However, featuring a customisable holographic interface and control layout adjustments, we can also hope this controller will be easily accessible for all when it releases in 2034.
