Funnily enough, even though the Dreamcast version of the game was a port it actually received far better reviews than the original PlayStation version.

The PlayStation version sits at 58/100 on Metacritic, whereas the Dreamcast versionhas a score of 76/100. Most reviewers seem to have favoured the Dreamcast version due to its higher framerate, improved control scheme, and extra content.

Regardless of which platform people played it on,Star Wars Episode 1: Jedi Power Battleshas left folks with fond memories. We’ll have to wait until January to see if Aspyr are up to the task however.
