It’s always nice to get a dazzling new console especially when it shines so brightly and these new PlayStation 5 consoles are certainly eye-catching.

One of the perks of thePlayStation 5is buying new console covers, and Sony recently released three brand-new covers for the previous model of thePS5, namely ‘Volcanic Red’, ‘Cobalt Blue’ and ‘Sterling Silver’, collectively known as the ‘Deep Earth Collection’. Other than the silver cover, the new blue and red covers areexclusive toPlayStation Direct. However, as shared in a tweet from Shinobi602, you will soon be able to buy the slimmer version of Sony’s console featuring the three aforementioned covers.

The new consoles were revealed during Sony’s CES 2024 event and each will come with matching DualSense controllers. No release dates have been announced at the time of writing, but considering that the three covers are already available for the previous PS5 models, I can’t imagine that we’ll be waiting very long.
It will be interesting to see much like the covers, whether or not any of the three new PS5 consoles will be exclusive to PlayStation Direct or readily available at most retailers. Only time will tell. That being said, we will of course keep you updated as soon as Sony breaks the release date for the new PlayStation 5 consoles.
