“For the players” is the slogan from Sony when it comes to its PlayStation brand, but the latest reports of suspensions are anything but.
Whether it’s PC,Xbox,PlayStationorNintendoour digital accounts are the bread and butter of our gaming lifestyle. It’s not only a place where games are stored, but so too is our gaming history such as Trophies, Achievements, online leaderboard data and so much more. Not to mention that over the years, those single accounts alone can be worth an absolute fortune when it comes to the accumulated cost of games and DLC. So when accounts start to get banned, seemingly for no good reason, the community will be in uproar.
For the players!
Recently, Sony landed itself in hot water and for good reason when it started todelete digital content on PlayStationthat customers had paid for. What’s more, deletedPlayStation content is reportedly in the thousandswith no refunds being offered. Now it’s seemingly getting worse for gamers of the blue brand.

That being said, Reddit user mrEnglwoods claims that numerous users on Twitter have said that Sony is aware of this issue and is working on a fix. To be honest, it would be surprising if Sony was unaware and perhaps it’s waiting on making an official statement until the root cause of the problem is discovered.
I’m pretty sure it’s just a random glitch in the system and all will be fixed in the coming hours (hopefully). Otherwise, there are going to be a lot more disgruntled PlayStation fans.
