
I think it’s fair to say that plenty of us look back on the PlayStation 2 era with fondness. It was a great console that boasted an impressive line-up of games.

PlayStation-centric YouTuber Mystic has claimed that Sony is working on a new updated PlayStation 2 emulator. In a recent upload,he said, “There have been noticeable improvements thus far when it comes to the classics programme that Sony’s recently done. There are some big omissions like PlayStation 2 titles but it’s probably a matter of them not having a brand new PlayStation 2 emulator.”

He continued, “I would be borderline shocked if that’s not what’s being worked on right now - and I have it on good authority that that is what’s happening but they are not ready with that new emulator just yet.”
