I am going to lose so much time looking through this new Pokémon game and collecting cards. I don’t care if I have to pay for the pretty ones, I’m a sucker for great Pokémon artwork.

According to the store pages,Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocketlets you “easily collect Pokémon cards.”
All new cards will be brought to the game, likely in line with TCG releases, but it wouldn’t be a surprise if some cards were exclusive to the app.
The jump to collecting in an app means that The Pokémon Company can give us all-new features for each card, including a “3D feel” from “immersive cards.”

Of course, you’ll be able to play against your friends or take part in random battles, plus there will be binders to store your cards in collections.
Something I’d love to see from this is a more expansive breakdown of rules and historical notes about the game over the years.
It will be great for pretty artwork and the TCG game, of course, but I’d like to see chances to learn more about the rarity of cards, details on the game from across the sets, plus some concept art from designers.
Even notes on the Pokémon themselves would be great for younger players, or those who have perhaps not kept up with game releases and want a crash course in who’s who.
