To be honest, the original post lays out a good few possibilities, but replies narrow down where they think players might end up.
Of course, we can’t rule out that Nintendo would want to keep the game on home soil for such a big anniversary.

“I think Italy and Greece are strong contenders too,”said one reply. Greece could be interesting if they lean into the mythology of the country.
We’ll know much more once Nintendo has an announcement ready, probably after the Switch 2 has been shown, but for now, fans will keep guessing.
