Pokémon Gold and Silver return in new release that’ll hit you right in the childhood

Pokémon GoldandSilverare making their triumphant return this month, with a new, official merch collection coming to Pokémon Centers.

Who’d have thought decades later we’d still be playing Pokémon, with the next game releasing on the Nintendo Switch next year.

Later this month, both games will officially turn 24 years old and to celebrate, the Pokémon Center has a special line of merchandise.

The leaked merch can befoundon the Pokéshopper website, and will be available for purchase from participating Pokémon Center stores on Thursday 21 November.

The line will include items like jackets, stationary, pictures, stickers and new plushies of Lugia and Ho-Oh.

These products won’t come cheap as I’m sure you’d expect, but they’re worthwhile additions to any collection, especially if you’re a big fan of the games.

Pokémon Crystalis unfortunately exempt from this merchandise drop as it launched at a later date, and is arguably one of thebest Pokémon games ever made.

In other news, fans are disappointed that the next Pokémon game,Pokémon Legends: Z-A, was announced so early, as no additional news on the game has been shared since its initial reveal teaser.

The game is expected to launch on the Nintendo Switch next year, but also be a title for theNintendo Switch 2, hence all the secrecy about the game so far.

Personally, I’m hoping the classic games likeGoldandSilverfinally make their way onto Nintendo Switch Online first.
