It appears that the release date forPokémon Legends: Z-Amay have leaked on a popular worldwide retailer, but is it legit?
In February 2024,Pokémon Legends: Z-Awas announcedwith a cinematic trailer sending fans of the series into a frenzy. Moreover, fans have speculated that the next Pokémon game will be released on theNintendo Switchand perhaps theSwitch 2with the trailer stating that it’s “releasing simultaneously worldwide in 2025.”
Check out the Pokémon Legends: Z-A trailer below!
Unfortunately, since that time, we’ve not learned much else about the game such as its confirmed release date or even being treated to a gameplay trailer. Hopefully, we might learn more whenNintendofinally reveals the successor to the Switch console this year.

It’s more than likely that all the release dates listed on Amazon are merely placeholders, especially the new 2 January 2026 date. Unless Amazon knows something that Nintendo has not made public, we all know thatPokémon Legends: Z-Ais scheduled to be released at some point this year.
It’s perhaps also worth keeping in mind that other thanPokémon Legends: Arceuswhich was released on 28 January 2022, all other mainline Pokémon games on the Nintendo Switch were released in November.
Of course, we’ll keep you posted when we get more information onPokémon Legends: Z-Aas well as the Nintendo Switch successor, the latter of which is expected to be made soon.
