
Pokémon is one of Nintendo’s most beloved properties and it’s unthinkable for it to be playable on rival platforms, right?
ThePokémonseries made its debut on theretrohandheld console, the Game Boy in 1996 withPokémon Red,GreenandBlue. Since that time the franchise has grown into a goliath for the entire entertainment industry.

Unfortunately, long-time Pokémon video game developer,Game Freak, fell victim to a massive data breach leaking off kinds of information to the public, not only for video games but also theNintendo Switch 2as well as the movie sequel toDetective Pikachu.
What’s more, these are native PC builds and not emulations originating from the Nintendo Switch. However, before we get carried away, this does not mean that Game Freak or Nintendo have plans on releasing these Pokémon games on PC.
Even console-exclusive titles are developed on PC and this is why the cracked playable builds ofPokémon Legends: Arceus,Pokémon Brilliant DiamondandPokémon Shining Pearlexist.

While we wouldn’t recommend downloading any of these leaked builds for obvious reasons, gameplay footage does exist on platforms such as YouTube. Though Nintendo is understandably working hard to get them removed.
