It has been a while, but we’re back with an exclusive unveiling of Pokémon cards, this time for the brand-newStellar Crownset due for release on 13 September.

We’re thrilled to bring you a look at the Froakie line, showcasing some lovely art and one of the more popular water-type Pokémon.

Before we jump right in and show you the cards, let’s break down what theStellar Crownset aims to bring to the Pokémon TCG. For the first time in the TCG, Pokémon players will be able to utilise the Terastal phenomenon first seen in thePokémon ScarlettandPokémon Violetvideo games.

Then we come to a favourite of many, Greninja ex. It’s a bit of a gambling card here, as Shifting Shruriken lands an extra 100 damage after a coin flip lands on ‘heads.’ And with 300 HP, Greninja can hold its own. The card features some lovely fluid artwork from 5ban Graphics, with the water trails escaping the image across the border.

Stellar Crownis shaping up to be a wonderful set, particularly for collectors as the art will definitely stand out. We can’t wait to get our hands on some boosters and try for a few lucky pulls on 13 September. Here’s hoping for some Archaludon, Hydrapple and the Legendary Pokémon Terapagos. Fingers crossed for your pulls.
