PokeGirlLauren is the leaker in question, surfacing on Twitter to reveal the game’s upcoming sets.

“Mini [Pokémon TCG Pocket] Set A1a to be released 16 December,” PokeGirlLaurenwrote.
“The [second] set ‘A2’ will be released 29 January, will contain around 230 cards and is expected to totally change the meta.”
“Plans are for [four] new sets and [four] mini sets a year,” she concluded.
She then went on to reveal some upcoming events.

From 22 November to 2 December, players can reportedly look forward to a ‘Black Friday Gold’ event, as well as a Magikarp/Gyarados event from 22 to 28 November.
An Arcanine event will supposedly run simultaneously, with a Venusaur event following from 29 November to 13 December.
As for what each event will entail, well, PokeGirlLauren had this tosay: “The Arcanine event will be a Wonder Pick event called Rare Pick where Arcanine EX will be available with other holo cards including Charizard, Moltres, and Ninetails.”
