It’s a safe assumption to make thatPokémon Legends: Z-Awill be released on the currentNintendo Switchconsole. However, at the very end of its reveal trailer, it said “releasing simultaneously worldwide in 2025”.

Those words sparked rumours thatPokémon Legends: Z-Amight also release on the Nintendo Switch successor, otherwise, why would it say what it did? It makes us assume that the game will be released on at least two platforms.

Pokémon BlackandWhiteare set in the Unova region and this apparent leak has led some to believe that both of the 2010 games could get modern remakes on the Nintendo Switch or perhaps more likely, its successor.

Of course, we should take unconfirmed speculation with a pinch of salt until proven otherwise but it’s an exciting prospect nonetheless that we might get remakes ofPokémon BlackandWhite, perhaps in 2026 which just so happens to be the 30th anniversary of the franchise.

As always, we’ll keep you posted if we hear of any further developments.
