Stellar Bladeis the next big PlayStation 5 exclusive arriving this week and it’s been met with some pre-launch controversy.

Stellar Bladeis an action-adventure RPG that shares a lot of similarities with the likes ofDevil May CryandBayonetta, at least in terms of gameplay. However, thisPlayStation 5exclusive perhaps shares a little more in common with Bayonetta given the fact thatStellar Bladehas a playable protagonist that can be considered as having an eye-catching design.

There have seemingly been discussions within the video game community over whetherStellar Bladewill be cut in some regions to see that it’s released in as many territories as possible. This is down to the fact that some cultures are more reserved regarding certain types of content.

In particular, Japan is a country that often cuts video games that can be deemed to be too gory or in the Middle East, games can be cut if it’s seen to be overly sexualised. However, in arecenttweet, the developers at Skill Up have assured its community thatStellar Bladewill be uncensored in all regions.

“Stellar Bladeoffers the same uncensored version in all countries, including the Japanese version,” reads the tweet. That being said, it’s not specified which content has been brought into question that may or may not be cut, so we’ll just have to leave that to our imagination.

Stellar Bladewill be released this week on 26 April for PlayStation 5 and can be ore-ordered onAmazon. What’s more, there’s also a playable demo available to download for free via the PlayStation Store right now.
