PS5 looks set to gain critically-acclaimed Xbox exclusive very soon

GAMINGbible isn’t alone in holding out hope that now is finally the time this much loved game will make the move from Xbox to other platforms, namely the PlayStation 5.

We’ve been waiting for what feels like aeons for this (a tad dramatic, but also very true); in early 2023,PlayStation’s hopes were dashedafter it missed out on a chance to add the acclaimed game to its collection.

Anyone who hasn’t experienced this rush really needs to watch theHi-Fi Rushlaunch trailer.

Now it seemsPlayStationwill be able to have another shot at bagging itself this Xbox exclusive, if the speculation mill is to be believed. Once again, we travel into the rumour mines to see what lurks, and while it isn’t the most reliable gossip, it does hold some weight that makes us positive that now is the time to seeHi-Fi Rushjourney across platforms.

Before anyone claims this datamine is clutching at straws, the green t-shirt representing Xbox reads “Shadow dropped”, referencing the shock launch of the game in 2023, thus the idea that these other designs symboliseMicrosoft’s rivals seem accurate.

Naturally with such news, not everyone is convinced, especially the Xbox players who feel quite smug at being one up on the PS and Switch: “It ain’t happening, just buy an Xbox,” replied one non-believer. From there, another doubtful gamer said, “If this was happening, it would’ve been at the SoP [State of Play] yesterday.”

Although a reasonable assumption, let’s not forget that there’s another State of Play scheduled for next week, and it’s highly unlikely it’ll only featureFinal Fantasy VII Rebirthfootage. Consequently, maybe theHi-Rushannouncement is waiting for us there…? It may seem unlikely, but just this once we’re hoping optimism and wishful thinking wins the day.
