Red Dead Redemption 2 comes alive with new open-world events

With open world video games comes the opportunity to run into all sorts of weird and random events and characters.Red Dead Redemption 2is no exemption and despite the Rockstar title already being full to the brim with such events, one modder can’t help but add some more.

Themodtitled ‘Ambient Random Events’ on Nexus Mods includes “random stuff (mostly shootouts) happening around the player sometimes to make the world feel a bit more alive” according to creator, crossed99. The mod will add random events such as a bounty hunter trying to track someone down, fist fights between groups of people and the occasional shootout to the game.

The events can happen anywhere on the map and at random times. Additionally, they can also end in a handful of ways such as fugitives getting away and the bounty hunter themselves being killed. Arthur could also find himself in trouble with the law if he decides to get himself involved.
