Red Dead Redemption 2 fans spot unique detail unseen in any other Rockstar Games title

Red Dead Redemption fans have spotted a cool fact about one of Rockstar Games’ most beloved characters.

Rockstar Gameshas made some real bangers over the years, but you could argue titles likeRed Dead RedemptionandGTA Vwouldn’t have been as popular as they were if it weren’t for the incredible protagonists stealing the show.

HopefullyGTA VI’sprotagonists Jason and Lucia meet expectations, and you can see them in action in the trailer below.

Out of all the Rockstar protagonists a fan-favourite is John Marston, the main character ofRed Dead Redemptionwho also appears inRed Dead Redemption 2.

For those who aren’t aware, you play as John throughout the entirety of the first game’s story, and then in the prequel he becomes a secondary protagonist after beating the game.

If you want to be pedantic, you could say Claude fromGTA IIandGTA IIIis the first character you play as more than once, but technically speaking while they share the same name, they’re considered different characters.

GTA IIandGTA IIIapparently take place in alternate universes, separating the 2D and 3D games in the series.

John Marston on the other hand is exactly the same guy inRed Dead Redemptionas he is inRed Dead Redemption 2, and is fully playable in both.

In a way, it’s quite fitting as he’s often considered the best character Rockstar has ever created, though the likes of Arthur Morgan and Trevor fromGTA Varen’t too far behind in that respect.

You never know though, maybe the developer will throw us a curveball inGTA VIand bring back one of theGTA Vprotagonists as a playable character after the main story.
