Red Dead Redemption 2 feels like an entirely new game if you change one setting

There’s not much to dislike aboutRed Dead Redemption 2when you stick to a vanilla playthrough. However, there’s something to be said for changing the settings to completely reinvigorate the game, specifically how it feels to play.

We bring to you:Red Dead Redemption 2in first person.

“After doing a whole play through in FP, I can’t go back,” said one player who’s already braved the intensity of the experience. “It makes it so much more immersive. Sometimes it’s a little clunky, but it’s worth it imo.”

From the clip we’ve seen that was shared on Reddit, first personRed Dead Redemptionis super fast, in such a way that we almost get whiplash between shots. Imagine the chaos that would unfold if you used this mode while attempting to tackle the50 new bandit missionswaiting for you around each corner in a new expansion.

We always love watching epic wins and fails fromRed Dead Redemption 2

“Yeah a full first person, free aim only playthrough of the story is an entirely different experience. I urge everyone to try it at least once,” posted another fan, further convincing us that we need to try this for ourselves. Once we’re mentally prepared for it.

To change perspectives, all you need to do is press the touchpad onPlayStationand the select button on Xbox to jump into a world that feels more likeCyberpunk 2077than it does Red Dead Redemption. We love it when setting changes are simple to make.

Just make sure you’re prepared to go faster than Sonic when taking down those enemies because the first person perspective doesn’t hold back.
