Created for Nexus Mods, the John Marston Restoration Projectmodaims to changeRed Dead Redemption 2’sJohn Marston back into his originalRed Dead Redemptionappearance.
This means that his original hair, head and body model will be restored as well as fixes to clothes and NPC assets.
The goal of thismodis to improve the experience of playing as John Marston in the Epilogue,” reads the mod description. “It restores the beta models such as John Marston’s head from the pre release screenshots.

It also adds in new clothing, that being cut clothing for John’s player model, and clothing taken straight from his NPC model. The intent is to separate John’s character from Arthur’s as much as possible.”
For those who download the mod, John’s new clothing can be found at the nearest in-game Fence and will be added to his wardrobe to equip at any time.
