Whether it planned to or not, Rockstar set the bar incredibly high with the second Red Dead Redemption game, which is still highly rated as one of thegreatest games ever made, and a rare example ofan open world done right. It boasts stunning graphics, indescribably amounts of detail, and some truly picturesque views.
However, all of that can be made 10 times better thanks to mods, one of which has the game running at 8K and dynamic weather, all using the power of an RTX4090, and it’s stunning.

Fans were absolutely blown away, with some describing the visual quality as “beyond realism.”

IfGrand Theft Auto VIcomes anywhere close to this kind of visual quality, it might just be one of the most realistic-looking games of all time. If it isn’t, at least we know it’ll be in good hands once modders get hold of it on PC.
