During the final stretch, players are given a choice, head back and grab the money, or escort John Marston to safety. I’m sure everybody knows what happens when you escort John, but many players probably haven’t seen what happens when you go back for the money.

That’s what happened with one player on Reddit, whowanted to knowif they should “go for the money just for the experience and to differentiate from the norm?”
They were met with a resounding yes from those who’ve played the other ending, teasing a “mini boss fight with Micah,” which apparently feels really satisfying after all the atrocious things he says and does in the main game.
One player said they’d “always done the honourable thing in each of my playthroughs, no matter how bad I wanna try out the bad ending, I just can’t muster up the courage.”

Another highlighted what a bad idea it was onRockstar’spart to name the option “Return For The Money,” rather than “Get Revenge On Dutch And Micah,” which more players will have probably gone for.
LuckilyRed Dead Redemption 2is a highly replayable game, so the next time you head through it maybe give that alternate ending a go, and finally give Micah what he deserves.
