Since that didn’t happen, fans havebegrudginglyaccepted that a remake isn’t on the cards for Rockstar, who’s most likely pouring all of its resources intoGrand Theft Auto VI.

Some haven’t given up so easily, and have taken the“fine, I’ll do it myself”approach and made a number of mods that bring characters, locations, and other stuff from the first game into the second.

One of thosemodshas beautifully recreatedRed Dead Redemption’smost-hated antagonist, Agent Ross, in theRed Dead Redemption 2style.

Agent Ross hunted John Marston throughout the first game’s singleplayer mode, and popped up a few times during the second game, which acted as a prequel, to speak with Arthur Morgan about the Van Der Linde Gang.

“That moment when the community makes better content than the billion-dollar company that made the game”

“I really wish someone would remake RDR1 in RDR2 as a mod, but sadly, R* would probably go out of their way to shut it down.”
