Red Dead Redemption 2 player shares game’s ‘unluckiest death’

Whether it’s the Red Dead or Grand Theft Auto series, Rockstar Games' worlds have some of the best examples of environmental storytelling there ever was in the video game industry.

The worlds from each of those franchises are vast and aside from the blatant storytelling that is told to progress a campaign, if you’re willing to explore, you’ll find that there are many hidden stories to tell, andRed Dead Redemption 2is a prime example.

One of the best examples that comes to mind is the Sasquatch aka Big Foot rumour that existed with the release of 2004’sGTA: San Andreas. That rumour had me searching for countless hours for a mythical creature that never even existed in the game.

This incredible scope of exploration also means that there are plenty of ways to die in Rockstar games, and fans ofRDR2have been sharing their worst possible deaths. “What is the unluckiest death you have seen in aRed Deadgame? Mine has to be the meteorite that killed a whole family,” asks Redditor Touny420opening up the discussionon the thread.

“Stumbling upon this one was an experience,” replied LemonManDude. “Not as unlucky, but sadder is that one cabin northwest (?) of Valentine called Clawson’s Rest where a mom left to get back money that was stolen from her family. The kids were left behind but mom never returned, so they starved to death. Was quite harrowing to find that.”
