ARed Dead Redemption 2player digging throughthe game’s cut contentfound a horrifying truth: the Manmade Mutant was intended to be an actual character moves around. I can only assume this means it would have sprang to life in the mansion, giving the vast majority of players a heart attack before fleeing into the wilds to be hunted. This is perhaps the first piece of cut content I’m glad has remained cut.
Reddit user No_Interaction4027shared a number of cut content NPC pedestrian models, and the Mutant is among them. This obviously impliesRockstarhad bigger plans for it at some point before deciding against it.
All I can say is thank you, Rockstar. It was bad enough finding this things corpse in the game, if I’d had to bump into it in a dark Saint Denis alley I’m not sure I’d have survived.
