
Red Dead Redemption 2is a stupendously massive game filled with things to see and do, but fans have always wanted to take a little trip south of the border to see what’s going on in Mexico.
If I were a betting man, I’d suggest the next instalment ofRed Dead Redemptionwill focus heavily on Mexico. Although since that’snot coming any time soon, we have to look to other means of exploring the neighbouring country.
While the good folk at Rockstar Games are hard at work onGrand Theft Auto 6, there are ways forRed Dead Redemption 2players to have a poke around Mexico.

One method is to install one of the many mods, with the excellentNuevo Paraisoa clear highlight. But what if you don’t have a gaming PC and can’t use mods? Well, the good news is there’s still a way to get over to Mexico and have a little look around the place.
If you’re interested, you’ll need to travel to New Austin and ride your horse across the water at the point indicated in the video we linked above. It takes some precision, but if you aim toward one the prominent rocks jutting out of the water, you can shimmy your way past the invisible barrier and into Mexico.
The only caveat is that without mods, there’s really not much to see or do inRed Dead Redemption 2’s Mexico. The country was only ever intended to be there in the distance, so don’t expect tons of new content. There are, however, a few sights that might interest you.
