Despite not usually being included in the horror genre (although it should for the pain it causes),Red Dead Redemption 2has had a Halloween makeover thanks to modders over on Nexus Mods. Gone is the peaceful town of Valentine and the state of New Austin as it has now been overrun with undead and roaring infernos.

For an even more unsettling atmosphere, you can pairUndead Nightmare IIwith themodUndead Stateswhich “turns all the states undead with fire and more!” Think of the opening scenes ofThe Last of Uswith flames engulfing the city and the undead running around and you will have this mod. Images from it show towns like Blackwater, Annesburg, Valentine and Saint Denis filled with fire and smoke with wagons set alight and horses fleeing for safety.
