As much as any news aboutGTA 6excites me, I’m doubly interested in hearing or seeing any snippet of information regardingRed Dead Redemption 3. Although we know that the third part of the franchise is happening, there’s little else we know thus far;Take-Two Interactive confirmed the next game, but failed to give any definites in regards to launch, story, and/or characters.
Naturally, it makes sense thatRDR3is a long way off, asRockstar Gameshas been pouring most of its efforts intoGTA 6, as we can see from the impressiveattention to detail in revisited leaks of the upcoming game. Still, while fans realise that Rockstar is focused elsewhere, that doesn’t stop them speculating about what could be in store for riders hiding back into the wild west.
Check out these hilarious wins and fails inRDR2!
One such fan has created an alternative map forRDR3that’s huge. Seriously, this is a chonky map, much to the delight of everyone who’s seen it. Redditor Admirable-Class72 has poured a lot of heart and soul into this map, and while they admit it doesn’t “follow the lore 100%”, it shows the enormous potential the third game has… provided Rockstar seizes it. As one delighted usersaid, “The originalRDR2map takes up probably less than 20% of this map; I would love to explore this, even the idea of this being real is so exciting to me”.

Not only has the OP shared the map, which they explained is still a work in progress, they’ve alsopostedalternative guides to the game, detailing map locations, facts, history, and so forth. It’s a truly impressive body of work. Fellow fans are praising the map and guides highly, though, as one Redditor pointed out, a game of this size “would require 1TB to play” due to just how many little details have been added, not ignoring the sheer scale of the map itself.
I can’t say theRDR3map will look anywhere near as good or massive as the alternative map, but it’s still a thing of beauty regardless, so let’s just sit back and enjoy the possibilities of what could be.
