Red Dead Redemption 3 be damned, LEGO Red Dead is here and it’s everything

Red Dead Redemption 2is still a perfect game five years after its launch, but forget that because now we want a LEGO remake of it.

I’m sure that sounds utterly insane since we haven’t even got an enhanced version ofRed Dead Redemption 2yet, theXboxSeries X/S andPlayStation5 still only play the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions, but here us out…

The firstRed Dead Redemptiongame has been partially updated for modern platforms though, so perhaps its sequel/prequel will follow eventually

It’s seriously impressive, I’ve always appreciated stop-motion and it’s remarkable how animated the scene is despite all the characters and pieces being forced to move like solid plastic does.

Aside from it fitting the theme of building structures in timelapse fashion, look at the adorable LEGO version Arthur, with his little hat and little tools, it’s precious.

It sounds bizarre but imagine a full-on adaptation ofRed Dead Redemption 2but as a LEGO game, taking the renownedRockstar Gamesstory and injecting some more humour and whimsy into the tale.

Before you object and say the story is too “serious” or “dark” to be made into a LEGO game let me point out thatHorizon: Zero Dawnisn’t exactly oozing with family-fun, yetLEGO: Horizon Adventures works well albeit a bit too short and simplistic in areas.

Red Dead Redemption 2, in LEGO, with an open-world and some silly costumes to put Arthur into would be fantastic in my opinion. It’ll never happen, but thinking about it makes me chuckle so just let me dream.

If not Red Dead Redemption though, what other established video game franchise could, in theory, be adapted into LEGO format?
