One suggestion, from UncensoredSmoke, says, “Jack in 1950, he’s a crack addict, the whole game is about him joining the mob just to get more crack, and at the end of the game he sees a hallucination of Micah, and f**king kills himself.”

Off to a strong start.

Whilst trawling deeper, we find a pretty depressing tale waiting to unfold from Stormpoopers246. “You play as the girl who dies at the black water massacre, and then you play as her daughter who dies inRed Dead 1’s black water mission with Dutch,” they suggest.

Others don’t delve into their imagination to paint a bleak picture, but instead use the reality of setting the next game too far in the future.

User PIERObarza said, “Tbh any story that has to deal with what happened to Jack afterRDR1. Due to the setting having to be at some point after 1914, the game would be a Western in name only.”

None of this sounds appealing, though that was the aim of the game in the first place. Not Rockstar’s game, but Reddit’s.
