The hope ofRed Dead Redemption 3has burnt brightly since the day many of us finished our first playthrough ofRed Dead 2. However, with Rockstar Games otherwise preoccupied withGTA 6, we’ve been doubtful if a follow-up will happen, and whether it even should.
Now, however, a tease at the third instalment has come fans’ way, and with it comes a sense of conflict as people are uncertain of where the story can go next. TheRDR3tease comes from Arthur Morgan actor Roger Clark after a fan tweeted him asking for any scraps of information he had regarding another game.
Speaking of Rockstar Games, have you watched theGTA 6trailer yet?
“I’m certain we will seeRDR3one day,” said Clark, “When that will be – I have absolutely no idea. Don’t count on Arthur’s involvement either. His story has been told, I feel.” One hand giveth and the other taketh away, in both a moment.

In reply, one fan cried, “Ahhh, Mr. Morgan… I miss you.” So do we, my friend, so do we. Not that Morgan feels far away, thanks toGTA 6’s Jason already convincing fans that theupcoming game links back toRDR2through genetics (albeit, graphics only genetics).
While we dry our tears, we have to be real for a moment and ask if no Arthur is really a surprise; his story does have a certain finality to it. Then there’s the question of how far past the Wild West eraRockstarcan go before it loses the charm of the original two games; arguably, this is whyfans are hesitant over another game. Still, if the game does go ahead, fans are in agreement that a woman should take the lead, with such a move deemed a“welcome change”.
