This sparked fans of Cowboys and the Wild West tocomment, “RDR sold 60 million copies and they’ve given that game so little love… that hurts me.”

They do have a point. Aside from the regular updates to Red Dead Online, the game hasn’t received the kind of support many fans would like to see.

Including this onewho said, “Story mode players have begged for story DLC on both GTA5 and RDR2 for years.”

Perhaps the company saw it as a one-and-done opportunity, however, over 60 million fans would love to see their favourite get some attention.

“They just abandoned the online completely, and no next-gen updates kills me.” said MidEastBeast777 intheir reply.

Another usersaid, “RDR2 as a game just surpasses the previous GTA’s in so many aspects.”

It’s clear that the community wants more, but has that horse already bolted?

Rockstar Games has built itself up to be a company that makes masterpieces and that takes time and energy. It’s hard to juggle multiple projects at the best of times.

As one Redditor alsoputs it, “People are so used to being sold a game in chunks that when they’re sold a game that’s complete they think it’s “abandoned”.
