
Fans ofRed Dead Redemptionmay soon be getting stuck into the western adventure on PC if multiple rumours are to be believed.
First released in 2010, with itssequelfollowing in 2018,Red Dead Redemptionis considered as one of the best single player games of all time.

Originally released on thePlayStation3 andXbox360 before coming to theNintendo Switchand PlayStation 4 in 2023, it has still not arrived to current-gen consoles orPC.

However, according to a new rumour, this could soon be changing and its arrival on PC could be imminent.
This news comes courtesy of the new BattlEye anti-cheat software that has arrived onGTA Online.
The new feature prompted an update to theRockstarLauncher and thanks to this, eagle-eyed fans noticed something new.
According to Rockstar reporter Tez2, theupdatehas “accidentally included the metadata forRDR1PC”.

Tez2 posted this update alongside a link to the Steam App page forRDR1.
After finding a code in the Rockstar launcher that aRed Dead RedemptionPC port was in the works, Sony soon appeared out of nowhere in August and announced its existence via the PS Store.
However, the company soon pretended that nothing had happened but all of these coincidences can surely only mean one thing.

Although we have not yet had a direct confirmation from Rockstar, it would be a shame not to see the 2010 title made accessible on PC as there is no doubt fans both old and new will flock to play it.
Until then, we haveGrand Theft Auto VIto look forward to with arecent rumourclaiming that it could be released as early as September 2025.
