What lies in the studio’s future beyond that? Well, we’re not entirely sure.

It’s anyone’s guess what’ll follow that though. Of course, many of us will be hoping for something new in the Red Dead franchise.

After all,Red Dead Redemption 2is easily one of the greatest games of all-time.

It seems only right that we eventually receive some kind of follow up.

That being said, there’s no indication to say that’s something that might happen so if you’re looking for more Red Dead, you’ll have to turn to the world of mods.

It replaces theRed Dead Redemption 2’s guns with historically accurate real life counterparts.

You can view the full list of changes in the mod’spatch notesbut I’ll highlight a few examples below.

The Cattleman Revolver is now the Colt Single Action Army, while the Schofield Revolver has become the Smith & Wesson Model 3.

The Double-Action Revolver has been renamed Colt M1892, with the LeMat Revolver becoming LeMat Percussion Revolver.

One more for the road? The Volcanic Pistol has been transformed into the Volcanic Repeating Arms Pistol.

I’ll admit, I know nothing about firearms so the historical accuracy of this mod is perhaps lost on me but hey, I can validate that it looks like a really comprehensively put together project.

You can nab the mod for free on NexusMods but, of course, you need to be runningRed Dead Redemption 2on PC.
