With echoes ofRed Dead Redemptionin its Western elements and hints ofThe Last of Usin its battle against monstrous enemies with limited supplies, this survival horror is set to rival that ofThe Forest.Set in a world where an occult priest’s ritual has caused supernatural creatures to swarm a remote mountain village, one lone survivor is tasked with bringing hope back to its people. However, as you can probably guess, it is not going to be easy. Luckily, playing with friends will allow you to share supplies and also use as a meat shield if the opportunity arises.

As with most survival horror games, you will be up against various monstrous enemies including some that only come out at night. However, you can build a defensive structure in order to keep you safe but make sure you get enough materials from the world around you. If you choose to go head-to-head with the entities, you can choose between a selection of firearms or a trusty hatchet or pick axe.
When you are not fighting for your life, you can explore the beautiful scenery and regions including open fields, creeks and woodlands which may be home to some creatures who don’t want to murder you.
Hauntsvillewill be released sometime in 2024 onSteam. No specific release date has been given yet, but the game can be wishlisted.
