Red Dead Redemption new release accidentally confirmed in database leak

Update:Epic Games have provided the following statement, “We released an update tonight so third-party tools can’t surface any new unpublished product titles from the Epic Games Store catalogue.” The original article remains below.

Anyone who’s used Steam will also likely have used SteamDB, a third-party database that provides users with insight on everything featured on the storefront.

From player counts to download figures, there’s plenty of interesting tidbits stored on there, and anyone can view it.

This projectfirst surfaced back in Maywhen dataminer Tez2 uncovered marketing strings relating to the port.

While codenames have largely been used on these unannounced projects, the studio tied to the project is readily available which is why fans have quickly been able to figure out what’s going on.
