Following endless rumours,Red Dead Redemptionwas released once more this year. However, rather than the remake or remaster that had been speculated, this was pretty much astraight-up port for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switchwith no major improvements other than being bundled with theUndead Nightmareexpansion, but that’s nothing a Game of the Year Edition hadn’t already done.

To be fair to Rockstar Games, it did recently release a60fps update for theRed Dead Redemptionport, but that was only compatible when playing on PlayStation 5. Though, I suppose it’s better than a poke in the eye with a thorny stick.
Now, before we proceed, please be advised that the gameplay clip featured in the link below is a remake of the prologue of the original game. Meaning that there aremajor spoilersahead. That being said,Red Dead Redemptionwas released 13 years ago at the time of writing. The remake in question is fromRedditorDevilbringer07. I’ll say no more about the clip, just in case a spoiler is revealed.
