Now, I concede that when most of you think aboutRed Dead Redemptionyou’re probably remembering the incredible open world and single-player story. But the original had a brilliant multiplayer that, quite frankly, putsRed Dead Onlineto shame.
Red Dead Redemption’s original multiplayer had all kinds of fun game modes ranging from co-op to full-on PVP. Given the existence ofRed Dead OnlineI guess it’s not all that surprising that Rockstar would elect to exclude the older multiplayer. I also imagine remaking a whole-ass series of multiplayer modes alongside a massive single-player story would be a lot of work for a company that’s also trying to releaseGTA 6at some point this century, so I’m not holding it against them.
The good news? The same source suggests that the remake will come packaged with the Undead Nightmare DLC, also widely regarded as one of the greatest video game expansions of all time. And really, if we have to choose between multiplayer and Undead Nightmare? Well, the zombies win every damn time.
