Red Dead Redemption Remastered quietly lands on PC thanks to fans

Released in 2010 and still loved to this day,Red Dead Redemptionis just one of those games we wish we could revisit at any time.

However, with the title slightly outdated and its most recent remaster only offering a 60FPS port with just slightly improved graphics, it is no wonder fans are hoping for more.

As the predecessor toRed Dead Redemption 2,the first entry in theRockstar Gamesseries told the story of outlaw John Marston during the decline of the American frontier in 1911.

Making John Marston a household name,Red Dead Redemptionis still loved to this day so that is why this fan-made remaster is not one to miss out on.

On 14 July, they reported that their emulator could only boot upRed Dead Redemption.

However, just a few weeks on and it can now run the game at 25fps on a high-endPCset up.

Although 25fps is not the best, it still shows how quickly the team is improving the remaster so we can only imagine what they will achieve over the next few months.

Although there are still graphical bugs and glitches,Red Dead Redemptionstill runs pretty smoothly on this emulator.

Additionally, with it being an old-gen remaster, we can’t expect miracles.

However, this is the perfect way for fans to revisit the 2010 title and get a sneak peek at what the game would look like in 2024.

In the meantime,Red Dead Onlineis offering players the chance to get their hands on a whole lot offreebiesthroughout August and September.
