
In a surprising turn of events,Resident Evil 9has appeared online alongside some PlayStation 5 versions of some of our favourite titles in the series.
Without any suspense, making us think it may have been an accident,Resident Evil9has appeared on Play Asia alongside PS5 versions ofCode Veronica, Resident Evil 5andResident Evil 0.

The store listing forResident Evil 9features a “preliminary” art cover as well as a £68.48 price tag for thePS5.
“Set in an expansive, terrifying world filled with new threats and mysteries, Revenant Shadows blends intense action, intricate puzzles, and the atmospheric dread that fans have come to love.”
As you can see,Resi 9will also supposedly be known asRevenant Shadowsbut seeing as this is an unofficial announcement, it is worth taking this information with a pinch of salt.

Alongside the surpriseResident Evil 9listing, there are also listings for a remake forResident Evil 5on the PS5. The description says there has been “new technology developed specifically for the game, as well as incredible changes to both the gameplay and world of Resident Evil”.
Furthermore, it appears that 2000’sResident Evil – Code: Veronicais also getting a PS5 upgrade although it is unclear at this stage where it is a remaster or a brand-new port.
Last but not least,Resident Evil Zerois also featured but will merely be a “HD remaster”.
It is surprising, yet exciting news for fans of the long-running Resident Evil franchise and the future is looking bright for Capcom releases.
