Especially in recent weeks, Capcom’s iconic survival horror franchise, Resident Evil has been the talk of the town with reports of new games and remakes being on the way.
We’ve heard that we’re getting anotherremake of the originalResident Evilas well as the heavily rumouredremake ofResident Evil Code: Veronicaand the likely release that is the topic of today’s discussion,Resident Evil 9. However, not everyone is happy with the news ofResident Evil 9, especially when it comes to its potential full name.

Earlier this week,online retailer Play Asia listedResident Evil,Resident Evil Zero,Resident Evil Code: Veronica,Resident Evil 5andResident Evil 9all for PlayStation 5. However, it’s worth keeping in mind that Capcom has made no official announcements on upcoming releases from the survival horror series, as likely as they may all be.

Hopefully, this won’t be the proper name ofResident Evil 9and I very much doubt that it will be. With a bit of luck, Capcom will officially reveal all the juicy details in the coming months.
