
It seems as though fans of classicResident Evilhave something to look forward to after one insider recently revealed the news of an upcomingResident Evil - Code: Veronicaremake.
Originally released in 2000 for the Dreamcast console,Resident Evil- Code: Veronicawas the fourth main instalment in the much-loved survival horror series. Players took on the role of Claire Redfield and her brother, Chris as they attempted to survive a viral outbreak at a remote prison island in Antarctica.

The insider then reveals that the remake begins with Claire as she is searching for her brother after an explosion. After a “slow-paced tutorial” where Claire searches offices and escapes guards, she is captured and sent to Rockfort Island.

Both characters have their own unique skills - Claire is handy with knives whilst Steve prefers to dual wield pistols. Additionally, Claire is good with puzzles and Steve is your best bet for any stealth. The insider also reveals that theResident Evil - Code: Veronicaremake is a “3rd person game similar toBIOHAZARD RE:2”.
It remains to be seen if this news is to be believed but with fans begging for a remake over the past twenty years, Capcom has the chance to make its fanbase very happy.
