Earlier this year, Capcom announced that development onResident Evil 9(currently its unofficial title) has begun with fans hoping that it will be released sometime in 2025.

Details onResident Evil 9are practically non-existent at this time but rumours have led us to believe that it will seeLeon S. Kennedy and Jill Valentineteam up in a video game for the very first time as they take on evil forces on a mysterious island.

However, before the next game in the series arrives, there’s still plenty of fun to be had in existing titles such as the aforementionedResident Evil Village, released in 2021 and is the conclusion to the Ethan Winters saga.

With this patch being exclusive to PlayStation 5, once more, the most likely assumption is that it’s for the PS5 Pro Enhanced version which should increase resolution and performance.
