It’s safe to say fans haven’t taken the news well, many believing the show should be cancelled if Roiland isn’t part of the cast since he provided the voice work for the two main characters.

Apetitiontitled “Keep Justin Roiland’s Association with Rick and Morty!!” was launched on Change.org in January, when the allegations were made public, but checking back in on it months later has revealed it’s gone absolutely nowhere.

“I’m tired of people being fired because they were accused of something. Anyone can be falsely accused and it’s ridiculous to ruin someone’s livelihood over unproven allegations.”

Regardless of his removal, the show goes on, with Rick And Morty returning to our screens on the 21st of August.
