More childhood memories are being shattered thanks to an upcoming Peter Pan horror.
Described as “sick” and an “abomination”, it seems few are excited to see the whimsy ofDisney’s beloved character tainted in this way.
Following in the footsteps of Winnie the Pooh, the Lost Boys leader is going to fly away from Neverland and make a dramatic entrance into the world of horror.

If you’ll recall, thereviews forWinnie the Pooh: Blood and Honeywere hardly inspiring – the film’s so bad that it ends up being (kind of) good.
We anticipate a similar reception whenPeter Pan’s Neverland Nightmareis released.
Part of the ‘Poohniverse’, this film trailer made its upsetting debut on 30 August, and has subsequently scarred many ever since.
Buckle up because not only is the trailera lot, but so is the backlash about its subject matter.

On Twitter, user Agent Dutch had a scathing response after witnessing the horrors of Peter Pan as an adult.
“Can you people fking not, just once?” theyposted, “This isn’t even a good premise for a horror movie, it’s just afilmabout a psychopath murdering children and nobody wants to see that, you sick fks.”

The questioning tweets continued, with user 優木 せつ菜 | Makeine SZNremarking, “Jesus Christ this looks like an abomination.”

Even though there are many opposed to this upcoming horror flick, there are others who welcome its disturbing exploration of Pan now that he’s out there in the public domain.
On YouTube, @Rogkyui praised how “twisted” and “violent” the film looked, further commenting, “I’m looking forward to seeing this horror retelling of Peter Pan.”

For every naysayer, there’s someone eager to see this once gentle childhood character become the stuff of nightmares.
A date forPeter Pan’s Neverland Nightmarehasn’t been provided, though given that we’re now in September, we predict a 2025 release.
