You know, mods are great and all, but at some point you’ve got to wonder why someone would go to all the trouble of modding a game to the point of being completely unrecognisable.
Which neatly brings us to today’s example, because honestly I wouldn’t know I was looking atSkyrimright now if this post didn’t come from the r/skyrim subreddit.

User Easy-Passage2383 (oh you just chose that username at random I assume) on Redditrecently posted a version ofSkyrimthat looks less like anElder Scrollsgame and more like an advert you might see for a Chinese mobile game.
The clip sees them running around Falkreath, with their beautiful, luscious locks of hair flowing behind them as an oddly dream-like glow covers the entire town. Honestly this wouldn’t look amiss in a CGI trailer forWorld of Warcraft.
Users on the post were, uh, confused? Somewhat impressed and disgusted too, but mostly just confused.

The poster in question didlink a Google Drivecontaining the majority of mods they’re using to achieve this monstrosity, in case you also wanted to make your version ofSkyrimlook like something out of a 4K upscaledBarbie Horse Adventuresfever dream.
I don’t recommend doing so however, mostly because the end result looks ghastly but also because it took me about five hours to scroll through every available mod in that list.
