I’ve said it before and I will say it again, theSkyrimmodding community is positively unmatched.The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrimreleased all the way back in 2011 and yet, to this day, our playthroughs remain varied and interesting all thanks to the creativity, skill, and talent of the game’s incredible modders.
Recent examples include addinga bunch of new deadly trapstoSkyrim’s dungeons, or there’sBrigands of Skyrimwhich adds new enemies. While these mods are on a small to moderate scale, today I bring you something much larger that should keep you busy for a while. Well, actually, it should keep you busy for around 60 hours. That’s the estimated length of the fantasticSkyrim: Lordboundmod which will be totally totally free to download.
The Elder Scrolls VIis still a distant dream, but we can relive the magic of the original reveal trailer.

That’s not all. One of the main quests promises to be the largest main quest players ever will have experienced inSkyrim. That’s quite a promise and one that I cannot wait to see fulfilled. Your choices are also said to have an impact on the outcome and ‘state’ of the DLC area - andLordbound will boast an original soundtrack and voiced NPCs. What more could you possibly ask for?
The mod has been in development for a whopping six years. The only issue is, we have no idea when it’s due to be released. The devs are still hard at work so all we can really do is leave them to it, with the knowledge that one day, we’ll be able to dive into this apparent masterpiece.
