Yet, despite its critical acclaim earning a Metacriticscoreof 86, that didn’t stop the RPG frombeing review bombedwith angry fans expressing their annoyance at the implementation of theDragon’s Dogma 2microtransactions. However, despite this, if you’ve been tempted to check outDragon’s Dogma 2and see what all the fuss is about, now is the perfect time to do so.
As of right now, until 18 July 2024, you can downloadDragon’s Dogma 2courtesy of its free trial. Available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, this sequel, which is most certainly for fans ofSkyrimandElden Ring, is offering you two hours of gameplay.
During the trial, you will have full access to the game. That being said, with an estimated completion time of 30 to 100 hours (depending on your play style), the two action-packed hours will barely touch the surface ofDragon’s Dogma 2.
Once the trial is over, your saved data will be carried over into the full game, should you decide to purchase whether it’s the digital or physical copy of the game. The free trial can be accessed via the Steam Store, the PlayStation Store and Xbox Marketplace.
