It’s quite baffling to think that after all these years, fantasy RPG fans still cannot get enough ofThe Elder Scrolls V: Skyrimin large part thanks to its incredible modding community.
WhenBethesdafirst released the next instalment of its ever-popularThe Elder Scrollsseries in 2013 for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, I’m willing to bet that not even it could predict the massive success that it would eventually become, benefiting from multiple new generation ports each improving on the last. To be honest, the continued enjoyment ofSkyrimis a blessing in disguise because despite being announced six years ago, we’restill waiting forThe Elder Scrolls VI.

Yet, as much as we love to venture intoSkyrim’sversion of Tamriel and despite several new ports that improve the game with each release,Skyrimis looking quite dated at this point. Though to be fair, it is essentially a 13-year-old game.

The ‘Faithful Faces’ mod does exactly what it says on the tin and it gives the characters ofSkyrima modern facelift but without the need for Donald Duck filler lips. Though, I wouldn’t be surprised if a mod exists for that too.
The mod gives a facelift to over 3,000 NPCs which also supports over 2,400 new hair physics. The mod also fixes NPCs' eyes and the mouths of those lovable Orcs as well as improving facial animations.
Sadly, it seems that the ‘Faithful Faces’ mod is only available for the PC version of the game. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrimis out now on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
