Skyrim quietly re-released yet again, if you’re still keeping count

If you haven’t playedBethesda’smuch beloved titleSkyrimyet (and honestly bravo if so, you’re clearly the type of person who does not give into any form of hype) and you happen have a GeForce NOW Ultimate subscription, congrats! You can finally play a 13 year old game!

The title is dropping alongside several others, including the likes ofGang BeastsandF1 Manager 2024.

I’ve honestly lost count of exactly how many different platforms and storefrontsSkyrimis available on at this point, as newly upgraded versions of the game have launched across three different generations of consoles - from the Xbox 360 to the Nintendo Switch.

There’s also theAmazon Alexaversion, which is a real thing that exists. This is usually the point where I’d make a joke about Bethesda releasing it on an Etch a Sketch or something, but they alreadybeat me to the punchwith that one.

If you haven’t actually got around to playingSkyrimyet though, I’m personally not convinced that buying a GeForce NOW Ultimate subscription just for this is worth it.

A GeFORCE Now Ultimate subscription will run you about £20 a month, andSkyrimgoes on sale on Steam for way less than that about fifteen times a year.

Owning a temporary, cloud-based version of a 200 hour game vs. just actually owning it outright seems like a simple decision to me, but if you do happen to have a GeForce now subscription and this is your first time hearing aboutSkyrim’sexistence then definitely give it a go.

Hey, at least Todd hasn’t ported it to a platform of a more intimate variety yet - even though we do havethe technologyto do so.
